Do Your Homework The first thing we're going to ask you is, "Can you show us what you like and what you don't." Now, we're not going to ask that you know all of the technical lingo. But it will help if you've thought about design elements a bit. When we meet, bring to the board your ideas. Let us know up front what you don't like, and what dare not appear on your site. Then tell us about the things you do like. In a way, it's like designing your home all over again. It's also perfectly fair for you to say, "I have no artistic skill... I just want something functional." We'll propose a few options and come up with a mock-site or two for you to start from. We've found that people can then narrow once they have a starting point.
