"Before I begin, I rest my mind and expel all distractions. Then I go to
the mountain forest and select the best wood. Then I keep my mind on my work.
That is the secret of good furniture."
Development vs.
Design
Design is art, development is architecture. Development is
blue-printing, it is construction, it is the framework that
holds it all up and it is the wires hidden in the walls that
make the lights come on.
Before we can make your logo appear
online, we have to develop structure. This is where you tell
us what you want your site to DO. Later, when we design,
you tell us what you want it to look like.
Start by brainstorming. What do
you want to tell the public? Will you have a portion of the
site behind a password? Documents to download?
This is where you put all of your
needs on the table.
Development Ideas
How many pages will my site have?
Will I be using my site for more than just to relay
information?
